I am a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and an advisor on strategy, operations and AI, with more than 25 years of experience in management consulting and corporate leadership. I specialize in aligning individual, team and organizational strengths to build high-performing teams.
My corporate work today centers on AI strategy and the adoption of emerging technology in the enterprise technology industry. Before that I led marketing operations and strategy, running teams of up to 20 people, and spent more than a decade in management consulting delivering customer-relationship, data and operating-model programs for large organizations.
I have worked across technology, oil and gas, healthcare, retail, pharmaceuticals, financial services and telecommunications. I have mentored professionals through the University of Houston Bauer College Consulting Panel, the Collective[i] Special Ops Leadership Council, corporate mentoring programs and community service.
I hold an MBA in Leadership and Strategy from the University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business and a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame, where I was a three-year Varsity Football monogram winner and a two-year starter.
I know everyone can succeed by leveraging their natural talents, and teams excel when individuals develop those talents into strengths and have clear processes behind them.
A leadership journey fueled by resilience and growth
Despite the high school accolades, I did not see the field my freshman year at Notre Dame. I was a 220-lb defensive lineman going up against 6’5″ 300+ lb offensive linemen. I was trying to accomplish something that did not align with my natural talents.
A “coach”, in the form of an upper-classman who was the starting linebacker, recognized I was struggling and suggested I move to linebacker. By my junior season I was a starter, a Butkus Award candidate, and led the team in tackles.
When strengths are the foundation, success is not just possible. It is inevitable.
